Tribute to Virgil Turner After 25 Years of Service

After 25 years of dedicated service, Virgil Turner has stepped down from the Lyme Regis Christmas Lights Committee and from his role as part of the installation team.

The 2024 was display was Virgil's last involvement.

Rob James, chairman of the Lyme Regis Christmas Lights Committee, paid tribute to Virgil’s long-standing contribution.

He said: “Virgil has given an incredible 25 years of service to the Christmas lights in Lyme Regis. His dedication and willingness year after year have helped make the town’s festive display so special. On behalf of the committee and the town, we thank him for everything he has done.”
